I love Montepulciano, especially in a magnum size! The wine is a deep dark ruby like a Cabernet, but softer and sweeter, not as sweet as Zinfandel. Stands up great to our steaks, but soft enough with cherry and soft mint spice to drink alone, or pre-dinner. One of my favorites!
